For those of you new to this site, these are the grades I give each title and what they represent. Like many other movie review sites out there I usethe boring "Five Star" grading system. This means the stars should be pretty self-explanitory, but just in case, here are the stars and how high of a recommendation that is. So without further ado, here's the star grades and what they mean in general!

An instant classic. This is a movie that you owe it to yourself to see.

So close to perfect, but it's just a hair short of perfect (obviously).

Excellent, really excellent. This is a great movie that just has some flaws in it that can be overlooked overall.

Above average. These are the kinds of movies that you enjoy quite a bit, you just wouldn't give them any awards or anything.

This means I liked the movie. I didn't love it, and these movies could be a "I liked it, but it's not essential viewing." Basically, three stars is a pass, but just barely.

Completely average. These movies are normally the "in the middle" films that aren't terrible films, but they are by no means good.

A fair movie. Not enjoyable, not even very good, but there were some servicable moments in it.

Eh, the special effects may be good, but the movie itself doesn't add up to a hill of beans.

Poor. Very poor.

Maybe, MAYBE this could work as a mild curiosity to see how bad it is, but otherwise this movie ain't much!

Z

No stars. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about these movies.
